he's mourning for Mini. she's old and sick. his first bantam hen. they didn't sleep. we sat downstairs for half an hour and she settled and breathed better. I told him she's reacting to the smoke from 4 fires. his agitation is an unconscious reaction to smoke pollution. the body signals danger. he went home for a nap.
i'm so proud and I told him. he came back for lunch. he's trying new behavior.
